We recently visited Cotswold Farm Park with Leo from Cool Access Consultancy and his carer Easter to explore the site’s Changing Places toilet and wider accessibility features.
Located in the heart of the Cotswolds, Cotswold Farm Park is known for its hands-on animal experiences, seasonal activities, and family-friendly atmosphere. It’s a place designed to be enjoyed by everyone — and their thoughtful approach to accessibility really shows.
During our visit, we explored the pumpkin patch, the main park, and enjoyed lunch in The Ox Shed Café, which offers step-free access and plenty of space for wheelchair users.
Inside the Changing Places Facility
The Changing Places toilet at Cotswold Farm Park is equipped with specialist equipment from Astor Bannerman, ensuring the space meets all BS8300 and Document M standards for accessibility.

The layout ensures that wheelchair users and carers can move around easily, with enough turning space and access to all key equipment.
Designed with Accessibility in Mind
The entire site at Cotswold Farm Park has been designed with accessibility in mind. The pathways and indoor flooring are flat and even, and even the grassy areas are firm underfoot, making it easy for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility to move around comfortably.
There’s also accessible parking close to the main entrance, wide pathways throughout, and well-planned signage and seating areas — all of which make the farm genuinely welcoming for all visitors.
