When the family first contacted Astor Bannerman, their priority was to replace their existing height-adjustable bath, which had quickly become unsuitable and introduced several safety concerns. Background & Initial Challenges
During the initial visit, the family had a height-adjustable bath already. Although they had not had it for long, it wasn’t meeting their daughter’s needs, as highlighted in the OT’s assessment.

Project Process & Approach
Astor Bannerman supplied the Astor Kiva height-adjustable bath, with installation completed by Mark Elkin-Bradeley.
Mark carried out a full installation, including fitting, plumbing, and testing. Care was taken at each stage to make sure the bath integrated safely with the existing bathroom layout, removing the hazards caused by the previous setup.
