The Changing Places Toilet is the second to be added in recent years, the installations forming part of a decade-long project, which includes the building of new stands, to develop the historic sporting venue and improve facilities for disabled visitors and staff. Other changes have included the addition of more seats for people with accessibility needs, wheelchair spaces at all levels of the new stands, new lifts servicing spectator areas, and new, easily accessible, food and drink facilities.
Astor Bannerman were asked to supply and install equipment for the room, including an OverHead Hoist, Height Adjustable Washbasin and the Astor Invincible Height Adjustable Changing Table, which has been specially designed for public, high use Changing Places Toilets.
The equipment in the Changing Places toilet includes:
– Astor Invincible Changing Table
– Astor OT200 Overhead Hoist
– ABW-CP Height Adjustable Wash Basin
– Peninsular Toilet
– Hewi accessories including support rails
