Key features include:
-
-
Electric height adjustment to support safe and dignified transfers
-
200kg safe working load, suitable for a wide range of users
-
Emergency stop button for added user safety
-
Wipe-clean surface designed for hygiene in high-traffic spaces
The facility also includes a ceiling track hoist, accessible toilet, and appropriate circulation space, in line with Australia’s Changing Places Design Specifications 2020.
-
Enhancing Access to Coastal and Leisure Environments
The inclusion of a Changing Places facility at a high-profile venue such as the Royal Geelong Yacht Club highlights the increasing priority placed on accessibility within community and recreational settings.
It ensures that individuals with complex disabilities, along with their families and carers, have access to appropriate hygiene facilities when visiting the waterfront and attending major events.
A Shared Vision for Inclusion
This project is one of several Changing Places installations being delivered across Australia by CHS Healthcare, supported by Astor Bannerman equipment.
We are pleased to contribute to the advancement of accessibility infrastructure internationally and continue to provide trusted solutions to projects of all sizes.
