One of our standout international projects is a collaboration with CHS Healthcare in Australia, where our Astor CTE2-CP height-adjustable changing table has been installed at Coburg Special Development School—a leading specialist education provider in Victoria.
About Coburg Special Development School
Located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Coburg Special Development School (Coburg SDS) is a government-funded school supporting children and young people with significant intellectual and physical disabilities. The school provides tailored education for students aged 2.8 to 18 years, spanning early education through to senior pathways.
With a strong focus on inclusion, communication, and independence, Coburg SDS offers a nurturing and structured environment where students with complex needs can thrive. Their multidisciplinary team delivers personalised learning programs and therapeutic support to help each student reach their full potential.
Who are CHS Healthcare?
To help enhance accessibility at Coburg SDS, the school partnered with CHS Healthcare—an industry leader in healthcare and disability facility solutions across Australia. Known for their commitment to quality and compliance, CHS Healthcare specialises in the delivery of accessible equipment for schools, hospitals, aged care facilities, and public buildings.
Their expert knowledge of Changing Places-style provisions and the unique needs of educational settings made them the ideal partner for this important project.
Astor CTE2-CP Height Adjustable Changing Table
Taking centre stage in this installation is the Astor CTE2-CP—our height-adjustable, wall-mounted changing table designed to support safe and dignified personal care. Specifically engineered for use in Changing Places and hygiene facilities, the CTE2-CP offers:
- Electric height adjustment for ergonomic use
- A fold-down design for space-saving convenience
- A wipe-clean surface with an integrated safety guard
- Robust construction for daily use in high-demand environments
Its inclusion ensures students at Coburg SDS who require personal care have a safe, dignified experience.
To complete the facility, CHS Healthcare installed additional essential equipment, including:

A ceiling track hoist for smooth and secure transfers

A peninsula toilet with support rails to promote user comfort and access

Hygienic wall cladding and slip-resistant flooring for safety and ease of cleaning
