The JAMES is a premium electrically adjustable shower and care chair that combines timeless aesthetics with intelligent, care-focused design. Built from high-quality, sturdy aluminium, it is engineered to support residents through daily bathing and hygiene routines, while enabling caregivers to maintain an ergonomic and comfortable working posture throughout.

What sets the JAMES apart is its unique adjustable backrest, which features a standard 25° tilt function supplemented by an additional 30° backrest adjustment – enabling a total recline of 55°. This market-exclusive feature makes comprehensive hygienic care significantly easier, particularly for residents who require intimate or full-body washing while remaining secure and stable in the chair.

Soft PUR foam upholstery and ergonomically shaped seat and back cushions (available in standard 495 mm or XL 545 mm widths) ensure genuine comfort during what can be a long and sensitive care process. The electrically stepless tilt function is managed via a flexible cable remote control, with two optional programmable memory keys allowing caregivers to save preferred positions, alongside dedicated “Park” and “Clean” function keys.

A magnetic plug charging system, 3D headrest, lockable nursing opening, and optional bedpan holder and shower head bracket further enhance its versatility. Compatible with both NORA and CARLO, the JAMES integrates seamlessly into existing care workflows.
