The NORA Trend is a straightforward, reliable sit to stand aid designed to support residents who can bear some weight and benefit from assisted mobilisation. Purpose built to improve the independence and musculoskeletal health of partially mobile residents, it gives caregivers a practical, ergonomic tool for daily transfer routines – usable by a single carer without specialist training or significant physical effort.
Residents who use the NORA Trend regularly are supported in stabilising their body and improving circulation during the standing and transfer process, outcomes that have been shown to contribute meaningfully to overall quality of life and functional independence. The ergonomically shaped knee pads are individually height-adjustable to suit each resident, preventing painful pressure on the kneecaps during the standing motion – a thoughtful detail that makes a real difference in day-to-day use.
With a chassis length of 1014 mm and an inner spread width of 870 mm, the NORA Trend is compact enough for use in standard patient rooms and smaller bathrooms. An electrically spreadable chassis, ergonomic grip handles for both resident and caregiver, and a hand control with intuitive function symbols and battery status display make operation straightforward in any care setting. An emergency lowering function provides an important safety fallback.
Compatible with a range of sit-to-stand slings featuring arm and back support, double chest safety straps, and optional padding, the NORA Trend can be configured to meet the specific needs of each resident.
