The CARLO Alu Classic 185 is a mobile floor hoist for loop slings, engineered to make daily lifting and transfer routines safer, easier, and more ergonomic for care staff and residents alike. Built from a lightweight yet robust aluminium-steel construction, it is exceptionally manoeuvrable without compromising on stability or reliability.

One of its standout features is the extending arm with a 4-point loop bar, which can be lowered all the way to the floor via hand control – allowing a single carer to safely and efficiently pick up a resident who has fallen, without needing additional assistance. The electrically spreadable chassis opens up to 1040 mm (inner width), and the low chassis profile means the lift can pass effortlessly under both care beds and bathtubs, making it ideal for a wide range of care environments.

The stable 4-point loop bar is compatible with all standard loop belts and features a safety locking mechanism, while the generous distance between the mounting bar and the lifting column gives residents more comfort and space during transfer. The patented Anti Rotation Mechanism (ARM) eliminates unpleasant swinging or rotational movements, providing a calmer, more reassuring experience for the resident.

Made from high-quality aluminium, the CARLO Alu, Classic 185 is fully suitable for use in wet environments – shower rooms and bathrooms alike. The hand control includes a battery charge status display for added convenience.
