The CARLO Alu Classic 230 is mobile hoist for loop slings, purpose-built for the safe lifting, repositioning, and transfer of plus-size residents weighing up to 230 kg. Despite its enhanced load-bearing capability, the lift retains the lightweight, manoeuvrable character of the CARLO Alu range thanks to its innovative aluminium-steel construction – providing the necessary structural rigidity without becoming cumbersome for caregivers.

The extra-wide 4-point stainless steel sling bar accommodates all standard sling straps and incorporates a patented Anti Rotation Mechanism (ARM) system, which prevents unsettling swinging and rotation during transfers. The large distance between the hanger bar and the lifting column ensures residents have ample space throughout the process, contributing to both comfort and dignity.

The electrically spreadable chassis, which opens to an inner width of 1100 mm, and the 125 mm chassis height allow the lift to be driven easily under care beds and bathtubs. Electric height adjustment via hand control further reduces physical strain on caregivers, while the battery charge status display helps ensure the lift is always ready when needed.
