The Astor Motion E height adjustable tilt in space reclining bath is a cost-effective model in our Motion range yet still offering the very latest style combined with a revolutionary approach to bathing. Our specialist design team has worked very closely with professionals in the care and therapy sector to combine a contemporary appearance with practical performance.
Despite its advanced mechanism it takes just one carer to operate the Motion, easily adjusting the height and tilt of the bath to allow easy access for the bather. The side door gives a large aperture making access easier for wheelchair users, self-bathers or to be used in combination with a hoist. Space under the bath also allows hoists or wheelchairs to be positioned very close to the bath for a smoother transfer.
The large footwell can be filled prior to entry to allow a bather to have enough water to be immersed as soon as the bath is titled back. The autofill mode is an additional aid to the carer to allow attention to be given elsewhere whilst the bath is filling.
